Nightmorn [Comic | 2025]

Alongside working on Nightmorn, I worked on two accompanying pieces - a Hunter's Bestiary and a Comic. 

I worked closely with Hattie Gammon to produce a standalone prequel comic for Nightmorn.

Together we concepted the story, then I wrote the dialogue and actions the characters took which Hattie then drew. Whilst the piece wasn't heavy on writing, concepting how the pages could look and how the action would flow between panels alongside Hattie was a rewarding puzzle.

This was a really interesting project for me as I had never worked on this particular style of writing before. I found it really rewarding and hope to do so again in the future

In total the comic was 32 pages long, and covered the story of how The Scion (one of the player characters) met the rest of the Hunters and the events that led to her joining them as a member.

We published the finished comic on itch.io and I also made a physical copy for expo guests to read at our Falmouth Games Expo booth.
